BOSTJAN POTOKAR
RENE RUSJAN (Sloveenia)

Mõlemad on Ljubljanas paikneva Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts asutajad ja praegused initisiaatorid.
Praegu innustab MoKS Topolot rajamaks samasse külalisateljeed.

Bostjan Potokar and Rene Rusjan are both from Ljubljana, where they both graduated as sculptors from Academy of Visual Arts. Thez both are also co-foundres and current initiators of Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts in Ljubljana.

They are interested about conducting case studies of private initiatives that grew into something bigger with big influence upon public area. In the time when we all (transition countries as well as those with more stabile economies) are faced with questions of private and public in diverse contexts, from economy to social, political or cultural ones, it is important to research these issues through good practises, to encourage new projects and to link of the existing ones. Very aggressive dictations of capital and/or politics should not be the only alternatives in private and public initiatives. Before they have conducted case study “The Case X (Case Topolo)” . Topolo is a small italian village where 2 artists 11 years ago set up international summer art symposium Statione di Topolo. Stazione was also an inspirator fro MoKS to continue with PostsovkhoZ. Now MoKS is inspirator for Stazione to form its artists in residence programme.
