OMP (Eesti)

Rühmitus loodi Maia Mölleri, Eva Orava ja Maris Palgi poolt 2003 aastal ja teeb peamiselt installatsioone ja performanceid. OMP performancites on olulisel kohal erinevad kodumasinad, nagu õmblusmasin, triikraud jne. OMP kasutab töötava naise kujundit mõtestamaks lahti tänapäeva inimese suhet ühiskonna poolt oodatavasse, ühtlasi võttes igas oma performancis sujuvalt kokku inimkonna ajaloo ja eksistentsi mõtte.


Grouping OMP was formed by Maia Möller, Eva Orav and Maris Palgi at 2003. Grouping is involved mainly by making installations and performances. Different household appliances as sewing machine, iron etc. hold and important position at OMP performances. OMP uses an image of a woman at work (working woman) to contemplate / to open/ the relationship between modern human and the expectations of society, at the same time they smoothly summarize history and meaning of existence of the whole humankind.
