Joseph
Ravens shipped a specially designed bubble to Estonia for PostsovkhoZ.
This unique dance environment can be transprted nearly anywhere
and holds its shape with air. During the event he worked with Jane
Remm and Kulli Kaats in a workshop
that
ended
with a
3 part
performance
in different
locations
around Mooste. Joseph also collaborated with other PS participants
in a performance entitled 'The
Shell'

Joseph Ravens is a Chicago based dancer. His piece "Air Pockets" is
a fusion of body art, Butoh dance, and sculptural installation, that
will be set
into the Mooste environmental and social conditions. Air Pockets is a
performance in a series of clear plastic inflatable chambers. These membranes
represent
the psychological worlds that we construct for ourselves, and how illusory
and isolating those worlds can be.
